Tardieu-Laurent’s Vieilles Vignes Vacqueyras is made from 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre and 15% Syrah. Typically Rhône, it is full-bodied and long on the palate, with intense concentration. Half of the fruit was aged in concrete as whole bunch, with half destemmed and left in barrels. A touch spicy on the nose, this is dark fruit-forward with a mineral edge.
