Jancis Robinson MW
"100% Marsanne (over 50 years old). Gervans, Habrard, Tenay. 10 months in new and one-year-old barrels (Allier, Tronçais, Jupille). Cask sample.
Pure Marsanne. This would make an excellent teaching aid. Juicy and without any obvious oak influence except for a certain tightness of structure. Lightly floral and not too heavy."

"From the Northern Rhône and all Marsanne, the 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Vieilles Vignes Blanc should easily be an outstanding wine. It has an exotic nose reminiscent of pineapple upside down cake with its caramelized pineapple, brioche, and honeysuckle nuances, and it’s rich, medium to full-bodied, and has a great texture. It’s geared for the dinner table."
