Expert Review
James Halliday
Uses the multiplicity of fermentation techniques loved by Rory Lane. Unsurprisingly, a complex wine, with generous supple black fruits driving the medium to full-bodied palate from the outset, and taking attention away from the vinification. Will be very long lived.

Campbell Mattinson
This has ‘classic’ written all over it. Classic cool climate Victorian shiraz. It’s bunchy, it’s peppery, it’s bold, it’s long, it’s tannic. There is no shortage of drama and yet everything is well combined and composed; nothing juts, nothing challenges, but at all times it expresses itself clearly and well. Blackberry and black cherry, graphite, black pepper, cloves, strings of salted herbs. It’s a meaty wine with both a flood of fruit and carves of dry tannin. A long haul wine, without question.
