Tua Rita sits in the iron-rich soils of the Colline Metallifere in coastal Tuscany. While the estate is world-famous for its cult-status Redigaffi, Perlato del Bosco represents a focused expression of Sangiovese from the Suvereto subregion. The vineyards benefit from a Mediterranean microclimate and cooling sea breezes, which ensure steady ripening without compromising structural integrity.

The winemaking remains precise and understated. Stefano Frascolla oversees a process where the grapes ferment in conical wooden vats before maturing in large Slavonian oak casks. This traditional ageing method avoids heavy wood influence, allowing the fruit to lead.
