Two Hands founder Michael Twelftree created My Hands to represent the pinnacle of Barossa Valley Shiraz. Produced only in exceptional years, the fruit comes from low-yielding, old-vine sites across the region. It is the portfolio's flagship release, made in minute quantities for collectors.
In the winery, Twelftree selects individual barrels that demonstrate complete power and balance. The wine undergoes traditional open-top fermentation, then matures for an extended period in premium French oak hogsheads. Every step of production focuses on preserving natural structure, fruit concentration, and long-term cellaring potential.
The nose delivers blackberry, dark plum, graphite, and subtle baking spices. On the palate, concentrated dark-fruit flavours meet fine-grained tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, savoury finish. It is a benchmark Barossa Shiraz built for decades in the cellar.
