Vazart-Coquart & Fils 82/15 Blanc de Blancs, Champagne

Vazart-Coquart & Fils is a family grower based in Chouilly, one of the few 100 % Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs. The house is known for its precision with Chardonnay, and the 82/15 Blanc de Blancs is a clear expression of that craft. The name refers to the proportion of reserve wine in the blend (82 per cent) drawn from a perpetual solera started in 1982 and topped up annually with each new vintage, here finishing with the 2015 base.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, preserving purity and tension, while extended lees ageing builds depth and texture. The wine is bottled with minimal dosage to maintain focus and drive.
