Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut Rosé, Champagne

Veuve Clicquot's Brut Rosé builds on the same base blend as the iconic Yellow Label, bringing together over fifty crus of Pinot Noir, Meunier and chardonnay from across Champagne. A portion of still pinot noir from the House's own vineyards in Bouzy adds colour, depth and a subtle red-fruited tone. Each cuvée contains a significant proportion of reserve wines, aged to maintain consistency and depth of flavour across vintages.

After blending, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation and extended lees ageing in the bottle, developing its hallmark richness and fine mousse. On the nose, notes of wild strawberry, raspberry and a hint of brioche lead into a palate of redcurrant and citrus, balanced by firm structure and lively acidity. The finish is long and clean, true to Madame Clicquot's vision of precision and elegance in Champagne, a style that remains instantly recognisable more than two centuries on.
