Hand-picked fruit from the Derwent, Tamar and Coal River Valleys. Fermented with both wild and cultured yeasts. 23% matured for 3 months in seasoned French oak barrels. Textbook gris. All the fresh and glacé pear that we love of this variety, bathed in mixed spice and wild honey. Confident acid cut unites with carefully gauged phenolic grip, so integral to this grape, marking out a long finish of confidence and definition.

This has attractive aromas of straw and pear, as well as apple. The palate has fresh, open-knit apple and poached-pear flavors with some melon and white peach, too. Soft and easy-drinking.
