Torbreck RunRig Shiraz

Torbreck RunRig Shiraz

Torbreck's RunRig Shiraz, a contemporary Barossa emblem, echoes its Scottish origins and Celtic heritage with its name referencing a Scottish forest and a system of land allocation. Blending shiraz and a touch of viognier, sourced from ancient vines across eight vineyards on Barossa's red loams, this aromatic elixir emanates from meticulously chosen blocks like Greenock and Moppa. Inspired by techniques from the "Rockford School," founder Dave Powell crafted this dense, perfumed wine. Sustainable practices guide hand-picking, open fermentation, and extensive maturation in French oak for nearly 30 months, defining the RunRig's sensory richness.
