Update Your Delivery Preferences for Summer
We’re giving you greater flexibility over how your orders are dispatched during warmer months. You can now set your account to automatically hold your orders at our warehouse if the forecast temperature in the delivery area is above 29°C.
Default setting: Unless updated, your orders will be dispatched as soon as possible, regardless of weather conditions.
How to Update Your Shipping Preferences
In your account:
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to: My Account > Dashboard
- Select Manage Preferences.
- Choose Auctions & Deliveries.
- Tick on Set my shipping default to hold orders at the warehouse if warm weather is forecast in the delivery area.
- Click Save.
Flexible Options at Checkout
When placing an order online or arranging delivery for auction winnings, you can choose to “hold” or “not hold” based on the forecast. If you order through your Private Client Manager, simply let them know your preference.
This enhancement allows us to deliver your wine with care while giving you the option to delay shipping in hot conditions—ideal if speed isn’t your main priority.
Releasing Held Orders
If your order is held due to warm weather, you can contact us at any time to request immediate dispatch, regardless of temperature. Standard delivery timeframes remain 2–10 business days Australia-wide.
