pol roger
Established in 1849, Pol Roger is a prestigious family owned Champagne house based in Epernay. It is one of the oldest and most highly regarded Champagne houses . Winston Churchill was known to drink a pint of Pol Roger Champagne a day for his health and famously quoted "In victory, deserve it. In defeat, need it!” In 1975 the house released its prestige vintage cuvée Sir Winston Churchill in his honour. Pol Roger also produces three non-vintage cuvées, the Pure Brut (no added sugar), Brut Réserve and Rich (sweet) and three vintage wines, the Brut Vintage, Blanc de Blanc and Rosé Vintage. The house currently has 210 ha of vineyards throughout the region with almost 90% Grand or Premier Cru status. Pol Roger also employs contract growers to supply fruit for their increasing export markets.

domaine de montille
Domaine de Montille is a top Côte de Beaune domaine renowned for producing some of the purest, most elegant and harmonious expressions of Pinot Noir to be found in Burgundy. Established in Volnay in 1951 by Hubert de Montille, the majority of production was sold in bulk to négociants for many years. Over time the domaine acquired additional parcels in Volnay and Pommard with more recent purchases in Corton, Beaune and Vosne Romanee. Today the domaine is run by Hubert’s son Etienne, who adheres to a traditional winemaking philosophy. Built to age, the wines take at least five years to begin showing their full potential.

<p>Carlo Revello is a second-generation Langhe winemaker working alongside his eldest son Erik. Since 2016, they have made wine under the Carlo Revello e Figli label. These are an impressive introduction to the legendary wines of Barolo, crafted with little artifice and showcasing La Morra terroir with all the grace and elegance so prized in wines from this pocket of the DOCG. Two established familial crus (including the ‘crown jewel’ Rocche dell’Annunziata cru) are now part of their estate. This is a range that sees heritage and tradition meet fresh ideas and approachability.</p>

chateau du tertre
With a history dating back to 1143, Chateau du Tertre is one of the oldest properties in Bordeaux. Since 1995 it has been in the hands of the Jelgersma family, also owners of Chateau Giscours. The du Tertre vineyard is a large single block, with 52ha under vine, planted to Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Merlot (27%), Cabernet Franc (11%) and Petit Verdot (7%). Biodynamic viticultural techniques were being introduced beginning in 2008 and du Tertre was one of the first in Bordeaux to ferment grapes in egg-shaped concrete vats. The property produces a second wine, Les Hauts de Tertre, and from 2014 a dry white wine, Tertre Blanc, an unusual blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier and Gros Manseng. This Margaux property was classified Cinquieme Cru (Fifth Growth) in 1855.
