About this wine
From the hands of one of the Yarra Valley’s most esteemed winemakers—Oakridge’s Dave Bicknell— comes the Bicknell FC Applecross Chardonnay. A single vineyard wine from the upper reaches of the Yarra, this is pure, unorchestrated cool climate Chardonnay.
Taught and complex, the Applecross is aged in approximately 25% new oak, with minimal additions (just a touch of SO2). Classic in style, it is light bodied, creamy, and fruit forward, with nuances of grapefruit, peach, and oyster shell.
