Domaine Antoine Jobard has built a reputation for crafting precise, long-lived white Burgundies, but his reds from Beaune are increasingly gaining attention. Les Montrevenots is a small Premier Cru vineyard situated on the slope above Pommard, producing wines that strike a balance between structure and accessibility. Antoine Jobard, now running the estate established by his father, François, works with minimal intervention in the cellar. Fermentation is in steel before maturation in oak barrels, with a measured use of new wood, ensuring clarity of site expression.

Each vintage of Les Montrevenots offers aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle earth, underpinned by spice and a savoury note from the vineyard’s stony soils. On the palate, the wine combines fine tannins with fresh acidity, lending shape to its fruit and allowing it to evolve gracefully.
